Yuma Crossing Railroad

The Yuma Crossing Railroad operated by Yuma Territory Live Steamers Club of Yuma, AZ has developed a small 7-1/2″ gauge 1/8th scale railroad in East Wetlands at Riverside Park over the past few years. It has now grown to over a mile of track with a beautiful bridge going over the “Baby Grand Canyon of Yuma”, a simulated tunnel, a turntable and a travel lift table to assist loading trains onto our track. In our plans for growth, we would like to enhance the area for our passengers with a new station and covered waiting area for riders.

This covered platform will be 75′ long and 20′ wide. The entire platform will consist of  7,200 bricks. Our goal is to sell 1,500 engraved bricks to fund the station construction.  The entire railroad has been and continues to be a labor of love with donations from the community, members of the club, and many others who see what is being developed in the park. This is totally a non- profit project developed by people who love trains and want to share it with the public. The railroad is a jewel in the rough and we now ask for your support to help reach the dream of the railroad becoming the shining jewel.

We ask for this support by your donation of a brick(s) to be installed with the engraved donors’ name(s). The suggested donation is $50.00 per brick to make the needed platform for the train station. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Pictures showing the bricks laid.

We now have the first and second tracks through the station and working on the third track. We have the north loop completed and we have the first stage of our bricks laid.

Thank you so much,

John Schwartz, President, and Cliff Wolf, VP, of the Yuma Territory Live Steamers
